The phenomena of popular culture and its relation to media and communication is something that has fasinated me for some time. From human psychology, politics, economy, and artistic expression, it is my objective to give opinions and theories for the influence of all of these. Thoughts, which are often a nebulous and abstract concept, will be propagated in two dimensions. I say this since, to quote Elvis Costello “Writing about music is like dancing about architecture.” Here, not just music but various forms of cultural expression will be explored in detail, and as a result, to truly convey the impact and aspects of influence will be a challenging task to undertake.
